Now more than ever, the people of Cambodia need a genuine helping hand.
The Cambodian economy relies heavily on tourism and trade of raw materials, and the effects of COVID-19 have been felt most heavily by members of the local community. Workers who were previously employed in the tourism industry have had to find farm work, and many are unfortunately just working to eat.
The founders of Brighter Futures have conducted several trips to Cambodia over a period of six years to help stimulate the local economy, using directly donated funds, to provide essentials such as water tanks, bikes, school uniforms, bags of rice and women’s sanitary items.
Every donation helps to create independence, dignity, and a brighter future for disadvantaged young families.
Here’s how your donation helps:
$35 buys a 50kg bag of rice which will feed a family of 4 for one month.
$50 buys a bike for a child to attend school from remote villages.
Brighter Futures Foundation is a registered charity. Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible. Funds raised will be used to assist families and children living in Cambodia.
